We heard about RV Rally’s and decided to attend a week long educational rally in Sevierville,TN with RV-Dreams. On the way down, stopped in Abingdon VA to visit friends. The Creeper Trail is there and though it was raining and 50 degrees we just had to go for a ride. Never again, we had a near death experience from hypothermia and have purchased some decent rain gear in case we just have to go riding in the rain again. Rally was held at River Plantation RV Park. I have to confess we tried to reserve one of their cabins but they were all booked. Rented another Cruise America RV instead from Knoxville, just a 30 minute drive away. It was a newer one and had no trouble going up and down the hills in that area. Knoxville downtown was cute with great restaurants. We left the rally feeling even more comfortable with our plan to full-time RV.
