It’s cold in Northern Virginia during the winter months so we often head to Florida. Interest in RVs caused us to plan our trip to be close to Independence RV. David Scott showed us several RVs and answered all our questions. We were up front about not buying until July 2018, yet he spent several hours with us. After that we rented road bikes from West Orange Trail Bikes & Blades. It sits on the Lake Apopka Loop Trail which we road for several hours that day. Kept the bikes for a ride the next day on the Van Fleet Trail, a 29 mile rail to trail bordered on one side by the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve. We saw alligators, gopher tortoises and wild turkeys, very cool. This trail is straight and flat though on the way back at about 40 miles, really seemed to me like it was a steady incline. We’ll definitely plan our RV routes to include Rails-to-Trails as well as Mountain Biking destinations
