Our stay in West Virginia was in a relatively new county park in West Union, called the Long Pine Campground. It was a cute little park and the people were very friendly. We biked on the nearby North Bend Rail Trail and completed some routine maintenance on our tire pressure monitoring system while in WV. Our next stop was Hocking HIlls State Park in Ohio. We had heard so many good things about this park and were not disappointed. Access to the trails to multiple waterfalls and Old Man Cave were very close to our campsite. We had to take a photo of Mike near Old Man’s Cave for his 60th Birthday on our hike! The Hocking Hills area has so many cool rock formations, gorges, bridges and falls. Rock House was several miles away, but was definitely worth the drive! Caesar State Park In Wilmington, OH was our next destination. The park has some nice hiking and mountain biking trails, and was close to the Little Miami Scenic Trail. We spent most of our time biking on this trail and the Ohio to Erie trail. They were both very well maintained and beautiful trails.
Next stop Indiana to get some service on the RV.
