It was hard to leave our house of 28 years, however, we really grew to love our little apartment in the Reston Town Center during our last few months in Virginia. We really enjoyed the deck on top of the building with spectacular views of the sunset, and of course the gym, pool, and jacuzzi. Mike was even able to walk to work! I continued to work part-time and helping my daughter plan for her wedding in July, while Mike finished his last months of work before retirement. It was really the best 3 months we could have imagined with friends, family and festivities before leaving the area for our full-time RV journey.
