Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, LA was one of our favorite country parks when we visited in May, so we decided to stay again on our way to Florida. It is such a beautiful park with fantastic RV sites. It wasn’t quite as warm, but we didn’t mind as it was so peaceful, with very few campers during the week off-season.
Our next stop was Seminary, Mississippi. We stayed at the Four Seasons RV Park, a very small park next to Lake Okatoma. We chose it because it was along our route to Florida and close to the Longleaf Trace Trail. Running and biking on this trail was definitely the highlight of our stay. The trail went through Hattiesburg and then was mostly rural, where it became a multi-use trail. It was shaded almost the whole way and had a lot of neat rest stops and plenty of restrooms. For those of you who know me, I definitely like to know restrooms are nearby when I am running or biking, lol!
Florida here we come!!!
