We had a very relaxing two week stay at Mountain Valley RV Resort in Heber City, Utah. The resort is surrounded by mountains on all sides and had fabulous amenities. We saw hot air balloons and rainbows several times, which was quite a treat. I especially loved the gym, that was almost always empty, with a good treadmill and a Peloton Bike. I had so much fun riding the Peloton with video rides of beautiful places around the world. After my runs and bike rides, I absolutely loved soaking in the huge hot tub. I had a birthday mani-pedi in Park City and felt truly spoiled. There weren’t very many nearby options for running/biking trails except a short trail in Midway, UT. However, there were great hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We took quite a few hiking trips in the Uinta -Wasatch-Cache National Forest. We enjoyed Cascade Springs so much that we went back multiple times to see the autumn leaf color changes. We also loved the Mirror Lake area and the Provo River Walk and Fishing area. Definitely a place we would visit again!
Next stop Wyoming as we start to head back to the Midwest to visit family and friends.
