We haven’t posted for a while because we have been in the gorgeous Grand Tetons and Yelllowstone and had a very limited internet connection. We definitely didn’t mind, as the incredible beauty and peacefulness more than made up for the minor inconvenience. It is hard to put into words how amazing these two parks are, and how lucky we were to visit in late September/early October to see the fall foliage, and before the RV parks closed for the season. The roads/trails/restaurants, etc., were not crowded and we were really able to experience the parks in relative solitude which was amazing. We literally have hundreds of pictures and videos from this trip, below are just a few of the highlights.
This is the view outside of our campground site when we arrived…..Awesome!
Autumn Beauty in the Grand Tetons!
We did get a chance to see a lot of wildlife, and luckily no bears! The very first day when we arrived at our campsite, there was a very large elk in the RV check in area. We saw mule deer, bison, elk and trumpeter swans in the parks.
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Old Faithful were highlights of our visit. We got to see Old Faithful erupt early in the morning and spent almost an entire day viewing geysers all over the park. The Grand Prismatic Spring was probably our favorite.
