We had some fun adventures in Idaho. Our first stop was Boise, Idaho, were we had a great time mountain and road biking. We stayed at Hi Valley RV Park which was only a mile away from the Ada/Eagle Mountain Bike park. It had some of the nicest trails we have been on and had beautiful views at sunrise. The Greenbelt River Trail was also nearby and followed the Boise River. It was really cool that there were paths on both sides of the river that you could easily cross over using one of the many bridges. I loved biking to Lucky Peak State Park and through the riverfront areas. Mike really enjoyed going to the Intermountain Bird Observatory Lucky Peak Research Station in Boise Idaho, and interacting with the team banding birds. Our next stop was Heyburn: where we stayed at a nice city park next to the Snake river with nice trails. We took a road trip to Idaho Falls to see the “Niagra of the West”, Shoshone Falls. The waterfalls were beautiful and very loud! Dierks Lake Park was right next door, with a swimming hole and some excellent hiking trails.
Next stop, Salt Lake City!
