Blowing Springs RV Park in the heart of the fantastic Northwest Arkansas mountain biking trails, is a spot we always look forward to staying on our way to and from visiting family. This trip, due to rainy weather, we explored more the of the Razorback Greenway. The trail goes through the cute town of Bentonville and has lots of sculptures along the way. Our next stop was Arrowhead State Park in Canadian, Oklahoma. It such a peaceful park, with some pretty views of Lake Eufaula. Next we headed into the Dallas area to visit family and have some routine maintenance done on our RV. We stayed at Twin Coves Park, right on Grapevine Lake and next to more mountain biking trails. We had a great time visiting our daughter Erica, and her husband Shane; hiking, playing games and going out to eat. I was able to work a few days in their warehouse (River Birch candles), and even meet my sister Laurie there for a tour and lunch afterwards. Our daughter took us to the Prairie Creek Waterfall in Richardson, which was a nice surprise in the middle of the city. We took our RV to the National Indoor RV Center in Lewisville for battery replacement, a new air conditioner unit, a few other minor items, as well as a wash and wax. We actually stayed in a hotel for two days while the work was being done, which felt a little strange. We were glad to be back in the RV for the remainder of our visit. Mike was able to connect with his brother John for a movie and a meal. John also met up with us at Top Golf with Erica and Shane for a fun time of golfing and snacks. Mike and Erica also had some father-daughter time birding at the Village Creek Drying Beds in Arlington, to end a wonderful visit
Next stop, a new Texas State Park; Lake Brownwood.
